Child saved in Queens

A young boy was rescued and hospitalized after being injured and impaled on a fence. Firefighters cut him free and placed him onto a stretcher with EMS, securing him with a sheet before splinting his leg to prevent further injury. EMT's Jared Pinto & Ryan Glidden along side paramedics assessed the child, then transported to Bellevue Hospital for further treatment. His condition has been determined stable. Ryan Glidden and Jared Pinto have been active players on the lacrosse team as well, playing in games including the "Battle of the Badges" in early September of 2024
